On July 15, 2008, Taylor started her day arriving at Seneca College’s Sports Campus with her teammates to continue perfecting her skills. However, when attempting a complex dismount from the parallel uneven bars, Taylor fell and compressed her spinal cord. Her day ended with a trip via ambulance to the Hospital for Sick Children where she underwent 8 hours of surgery. She is now undergoing extensive rehabilitation at Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Centre as she continues in her plight to walk again!
